Rayon Fabric

Rayon is a semi-synthetic cellulosic fiber made from purified natural cellulose—typically wood pulp—processed through a chemical dissolution and regeneration method. It is known for its silky feel, excellent drape, high absorbency, and breathable nature, making it one of the closest man-made fibers to natural fibers like cotton and silk. Rayon fabrics come in several types such as Viscose Rayon, Modal, Micro-Modal, Lyocell (Tencel), and High-Tenacity Rayon, each offering specific performance characteristics.

2. Applications

• Apparel: Dresses, tops, linings, shirts, trousers, abayas, scarves, ethnic wear, and summer garments.
  
• Home Textiles: Curtains, bedsheets, cushion covers, table linens, and decorative fabrics.
  
• Industrial Uses: Tire cords (high-tenacity), medical nonwovens, wipes, filtration fabrics.
  
• Fashion & Accessories: Shawls, stoles, fashion trims, embroidery bases, and blended fabrics for premium hand-feel.
  

3. GSM Range

We offer Rayon fabrics in all GSM ranges, including lightweight 70–120 GSM for dresses and linings, medium 120–200 GSM for shirts and abayas, and heavy 200–350+ GSM for suiting, fashion bottoms, upholstery blends, and knitted rayon structures.

4. Composition

Available compositions are 100% Rayon (Viscose), Modal/Rayon blends, Lyocell/Rayon blends, Rayon/Cotton, Rayon/Polyester, Rayon/Linen, and Rayon/Spandex for stretch applications. We also offer EcoVero (sustainable rayon) and recycled rayon options for environmentally conscious buyers.

5. Customizations & Coatings

We offer extensive customization options including various weaves (plain, twill, dobby, jacquard), peach finish, enzyme wash, mercerization-like softening, and shrink-resistant finishing. Additional treatments such as anti-bacterial, moisture management, wrinkle-resistant, water-repellent (W/R), and UV-protection finishes can be applied. Printing options include digital, rotary, pigment, and discharge printing. Coating/lamination with PU, acrylic, or bonding with tricot/fleece is also available upon request.
